This game is game helps team members focus on each other, communicate, self organize and practice inspection and adaptation.

  1. Have the team designate a member to be the hub the hub stands so there is one spare chair.

  2. Allow the team 2 minutes to plan

  3. The hubs goal is to sit down but the other members goal is to stop them.

  4. For 5 minutes the hub tries to sit down the other members must sit in the empty chair to stop them. If you stand you can not sit back down in the same chair.

  5. Allow the team 3 minutes to retrospect and plan.

  6. Repeat

  7. Use your favorite debrief technique to reflect on the activity. (My favorite is Thiagi)

Break the group into 2 or 3 teams have teams compete against each other to see who can keep the hub from sitting down the longest (still set a max timebox 5 minutes usually still works well)
