One of my favorites in the 12 principles is "Build projects around motivated individuals. Give them the environment and support they need, and trust them to get the job done." I would make the suggestion that we no longer need to build projects. We need to build teams of motivated individuals, give them our intent, the environment and support they need and trust them to get the job done. If it works to operate a nuclear submarine, chances are it will work to build your product. Take a look at what David Marquet has to say about it below.
